An eSIM ensures you’re connected to the internet and able to stream music, receive traffic updates and even shop, while Amazon’s Alexa voice control system means you’ll benefit from more advanced speech recognition for easier control.
Improved efficiency
Three mild-hybrid engines are available, offering a reduction in fuel consumption of up to 10% and improved acceleration thanks to the addition of electric power. Choose between outputs of 109bhp, 129bhp and 148bhp, all mated to a seven-speed gearbox.
Communication to everything
The new Volkswagen Golf features Car2X for the first time – a system that enables connected cars, and infrastructure such as traffic lights, to communicate. This enables real-time data to be pooled to show traffic, breakdowns, weather and more.
