Audi e-tron Sportback

The Audi e-tron Sportback will be available at some point in 2020 – but what can we expect from the German marque’s second all-electric vehicle? Well, thanks to its swooping roofline, this SUV has much more of a coupé look than the standard e-tron. We also know that there will be at least two Sportback iterations to choose from.

Discover the new Audi e-tron Sportback The e-tron Sportback’s assertive stance gives the distinct impression that it’s ready and raring to go. That’s certainly the case but the car’s swept-back profile isn’t just an affectation, it actually helps to optimise aerodynamics. In fact, the vehicle’s drag coefficient adds as much as six miles to a maximum range that is already offered by the existing e-tron.
A dynamic powertrain This newest Audi electric vehicle uses a three-motor system, which sends optimal power to rear wheels during peak acceleration. The Sportback e-tron also has five throttle-response modes, making it quick and easy to respond to a range of driving conditions and preferences.
Choose your version A 71kWh battery is available with entry-level e-tron Sportback trims, and produces 308bhp and a maximum range of 216 miles. Alternatively, a 95kWh battery delivers 402bhp and a peak torque of 664Nm, allowing the car to go from 0-60mph in approximately 5.5 seconds. This iteration has a range of up to 278 miles too.
A new trim Motorists can now select a higher tier S Line trim, which will add more sporty characteristics. For instance, 20-inch alloys and sports air suspension are fitted as standard – as is gloss-black detailing that further distinguishes the vehicle’s exterior design.
