Discover the new Audi Q3 Sportback Sportback by name, sporty by nature, this SUV’s raised ride height and rising shoulder line are complemented by standard-issue 18-inch, 10-arm alloy wheels. The car’s bold front fascia comprises a honeycomb-design radiator grille that is flanked by streamlined LED headlamps and sizeable air inlets. A five-door body ensures that access for rear-row passengers is easy – and inside, there’s plenty of room for four adults, or a young family of five, to travel lengthy distances in absolute comfort. Coupé outline notwithstanding, the Q3 Sportback possesses a 530-litre boot space that enlarges to 1,400 litres with rear seats folded.
Putting families first The Q3 Sportback is fitted with an array of passive safety features and driver aids. Adults are well-catered for by the likes of multiple airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners and load-limiters. Child passengers, meanwhile, are secured with ISOFIX anchor points and top tethers – and tamper-proof rear-door locks.
Choose your engine There are 21 engine options available with the Q3 Sportback, one of which is a 1.5-litre petrol engine that is fitted as standard. This 148bhp unit delivers 0-60mph in approximately 9.4 seconds, up to 48.7mpg and produces CO2 emissions from 132g/km. Optimum potency is provided by a 2.0-litre 227bhp petrol engine, which puts out 350Nm of torque, making it possible for the car to go from 0-60mph in roughly 6.3 seconds.
