To check it’s locked without getting up from your sofa2 and much more, all you need to do is download the app, create an account and sync it with your vehicle. You’re just three steps away from making the most of your new vehicle.

Collecting a New Van soon?

If you don’t already have a Volkswagen ID, download the app and create an account at least 48 hours before the handover of your new vehicle. The app will guide you through the process.

Picking up your new van?

When you pick up your new vehicle, start the ignition, turn on the infotainment system and click on ‘users’. Follow the instructions to start pairing your new vehicle to your app. To take advantage of all features you need to be the ‘primary user’. Follow the instructions within the ‘users’ area of the infotainment system. You will need both keys with the vehicle to complete the task.

Already have the We Connect App?

Don’t forget to set up automatic service scheduling to get the best out of We Connect. On the vehicle page of your app, scroll to ‘Your authorised workshop’. Select Wolsey Van Centre and toggle automatic service scheduling to ‘on’. Just ask during your handover or give us a call at your convenience if you would like some help setting up We Connect.

1. To use We Connect services, you need a Volkswagen ID user account and must log in to We Connect with your user name and password. A separate We Connect contract or We Connect Plus contract will also need to be made online with Volkswagen AG. For We Connect Plus you have 90 days after the handover of the vehicle to register the vehicle on www.portal.volkswagen-we.com and can use services free during this time.

2. We Connect Plus function only. Free of charge for the first year when you order Composition Colour or Discover Media navigation system. There is an extra charge in the event of renewal once the free period has expired.

3. For the use of the Streaming and Internet based services and for the Wi-Fi hotspot, data packages can be purchased from Cubic Telecom, our mobile communications partner and used in the network coverage area within many European countries.
