Bigger on the inside
Looks can be misleading and that’s certainly true of the Fabia because its outward dimensions conceal a surprisingly spacious interior. The latest model is bigger than ever, providing even more head and shoulder room for a pair of full-sized passengers in the rear compartment. Moreover, the vehicle has a class-competitive 330-litre boot space, which increases to 1,150 litres with 60/40 split-folding rear seats dropped.
The Fabia Hatch comes with a maximum five-star Euro NCAP crash-test rating and a wide range of standard safety equipment. For instance, all models feature Front Assist, a braking system that significantly reduces the risk of low-speed collisions. Of course, there’s plenty else included to keep you and your fellow passengers secure, such as Electronic Stability Control, multiple airbags, seatbelt reminders and ISOFIX child-seat mounts.
A four-speaker audio system is installed as standard, complete with an AM/FM tuner, DAB digital radio, a 6.5-inch touchscreen display, and USB and SD inputs. Also featured is Bluetooth connectivity, which allows you to stream music and make and receive hands-free telephone calls whenever you need to.
