The covers are off: meet the all-new Transporter

The all-new Transporter was unveiled on 15 September at the World Premiere, ahead of the IAA Transportation Expo in Hanover, Germany. The seventh generation will offer more space, more payload, increased maximum trailer weight, and a professional cockpit landscape positioning itself as the right vehicle for every customer.

The new generation combines robustness with sleek styling and a friendly, instantly recognisable face, with the familiar Bulli line seamlessly tying together the various design elements.

Meanwhile, the interior has been developed to serve as a modern, comfortable workspace with enhanced safety features, with physical controls on the digital display and steering wheel for ease of use.

Stand-out features

  • Multiple powertrains - customers can choose from turbocharged diesel engines, eHybrid (due in 2026) and electric options
  • Versions with long wheel wheelbase and high roof have up to an impressive nine metres-cubed of cargo capacity, with a flat floor and wide opening tailgate for easy loading
  • A maximum payload of up to 1.33 tonnes and towing capacity now up to 2.8 tonnes, variant depending
  • Advanced safety tech including emergency braking, lane assist, intelligent speed assist and side curtain airbags
  • A high-tech workplace with ergonomic seats, numerous storage solutions and a customisable duo of 12-inch Digital Cockpit and 13-inch infotainment displays
