Power and pace
A 1.8-litre petrol engine paired with six-speed dual-clutch transmission provides you with seamless control of the car’s power as you slip through the gears. This 300bhp unit puts out a maximum torque of 400Nm, allowing the RS to proceed from 0-60mph in roughly 5.5 seconds. The vehicle is capable of a top speed of 162mph too.
The RS stamp of quality can be seen throughout the cabin, from chrome-plated door sills to Carbon Black upholstery that features a smart red-stitch contrast. Front-row passengers are treated to cocooning RS sports seats that are topped with integrated headrests. The driver can also enjoy the sure grip of an RS Nappa perforated steering wheel, which is perfectly complemented by a matching gear-lever knob.
Rock ‘n’ roar
Whenever you wish, you can listen to the RS engine’s signature growl via a standard-issue Arkamys 3D sound system. Of course, if you’d rather hear music or speech-based content, there are plenty of options to do so. As well as a number of AUX and USB inputs, the RS features Bluetooth connectivity, which allows you to stream your favourite tracks. Alternatively, you can tune into the car’s DAB radio, which offers up a wide range of stations.
