ŠKODA Kamiq

The most compact SUV in the ŠKODA range, the Kamiq rates very highly with a number of respected automotive reviewers. For instance, it’s number two on What Car?’s Best SUVs for 2020 list, and sits at the top of Auto Express’ Top 10 Best SUVs for 2020. So what is it that makes the Kamiq such a hit with the critics? Five-star safety The family is a most precious commodity so it’s just as well that the Kamiq has been awarded Euro NCAP’s maximum five-star crash-test rating. In addition to six airbags, seatbelt reminders and a number of other passive safety features, the vehicle is fitted with a host of driving aids. One example is Autonomous Emergency Braking, which monitors the road ahead and alerts the driver to potential
Stylish efficiency The Kamiq is fitted with minimum-size 16-inch alloy wheels as standard, which not only look good but help deliver enhanced fuel efficiency. Choose your ideal engine A standard-issue 1.0-litre 95bhp petrol engine manages up to 55.4mpg and produces CO2 emissions from 116g/km. Greater efficiency comes in the form of a 1.5-litre 150bhp petrol unit, which returns as much as 58.9mpg and returns emissions as low as 110g/km. Meanwhile, optimum potency is provided by a 1.5-litre 150bhp petrol engine that delivers 0-60mph in a little more than eight seconds.
