Marriott Motor Group has paid for a day of care and support from East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) across Suffolk and Norfolk on Tuesday 29th January 2019, having raised £13,152.10 for the charity in 2018.

Money has been raised through a series of activities, including the five directors completing the Three Peaks Challenge, staff taking part in the Orwell Walk and various cycling events, monthly dress-down days, customer raffles and more.

Dealerships also took part in Bag It, Bring It, Boost It, EACH’s donation drive to boost its shops, collecting approximately 100 bags worth an average of £10 each.

Paul Barnard, Marriott Motor Group Managing Director, said: “I am delighted that as a Group we exceeded our initial fundraising goal in 2018 and that this amount will pay for a day of care at the Suffolk and Norfolk hospices, it’s an invaluable service to those who need it and one that we are proud to support.”

Victoria Matthews, EACH Suffolk Corporate Fundraiser, said: “We really appreciate the amazing efforts and support of all at Marriott Motor Group, and look forward to working with them throughout 2019, as they aim to pay for a day of care and support in the same two counties again, as well as 25 hydrotherapy sessions at The Treehouse, our hospice in Ipswich, and The Nook, our new hospice just south of Norwich expected to open later this year.”
