An exciting opportunity has become available with Marriott Motor Group for a Workshop Controller to join Bury St. Edmunds Audi.As a family company, Marriott Motor Group is owned and run by the Barnard family. The ideal candidate will be able to carry out a variety of tasks ranging from routine maintenance, servicing and repairs. MOT testing would also be preferred.

As a Workshop Controller, your key responsibilities will be:

  • To calculate and manage the effective use of workshop resources for the Audi Centre.
  • Monitor individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure key performance indicators are met.
  • Plan the distribution of work amongst the team utilising available skills mix.
  • Identify individual training and development needs.
  • Manage liaison between workshop and service reception on customer vehicle progress.
  • Manage workshop standards in accordance with HSO requirements.
  • Resolve customer issues in line with Audi Centre standard and customer expectations. Manage any necessary liaison with department manager regarding customer dissatisfaction.
  • Ensure understanding and adherence to the requirements of Brand service requirements and customer satisfaction indicators.
  • Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the Audi Centre.
  • Maintain and develop own skills and technical knowledge.Agree development plan with line manager.
  • Interact with members of other departments to develop an Audi Centre team culture.
