About the job

Due to business demand, we are currently looking to recruit a driver/sales support person at King’s Lynn Audi. To be considered for this role you must have a Full UK Driving Licence, excellent customer service skills and a good geographical knowledge of the local area.

This is an extremely varied role that requires the ability to work within several areas of our business. You will be given all necessary training & support to carry out all of the below & In time you will be empowered to plan your days in the most time efficient & productive manner.

Driver for the Service & Sales Department:

  • Be an ambassador for the company in delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Ensure you bring any customer issue you are unable to resolve to the immediate attention of your line manager.
  • At the request of the Service, carry out driving jobs as and when required.
  • Drive all vehicles with due care and attention for all customers, road users and pedestrians.
  • Be courteous and friendly to all customers at all times.
  • Maintain safe working practices and standards.
  • Make effective use of time, prioritising where necessary and always seeking to provide solutions to problems and add value.
  • Ensure you carry out a vehicle condition check before driving vehicle and notify manager of any identifiable damage or defects.
  • Ensure awareness and completion of diarised guest vehicle collection and deliveries required.
  • Attend all training and development courses required by MMG as required.

Vehicle preparation:

  • Receiving and checking new and used vehicles
  • Monitoring the progress of new and used vehicles
  • Communicate effectively with sales management, administration and executives as and when necessary
  • Arrange 3rd party trade (dent/paint/Bodyshop repairs)
  • Raise valets for stock vehicles
  • Ensure all new & used stock website imaging is completed as required
  • Ensuring both new and used car displays are present and correct

Additional responsibilities:

  • Help in maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the dealership ground including and not restricted to the following: Forecourt & showroom point of sale
  • Support the sales and aftersales departments including and not restricted to the following, collection and delivery, driving and customer collection, vehicle collections from other sites/locations
  • Assist in advertising trade vehicles on Dealer Auction
  • Weekly used vehicle checks for cleanliness/fuel levels/dashboard lights etc
  • Weekly check of all demo vehicles
