SMART PROTECTION

Designed to keep your vehicle in optimum condition, a SMART Protection policy from Marriott Motor Group covers your vehicle for small damage - without affecting your no-claims bonus with your insurance provider.

We understand the importance of keeping your vehicle in showroom condition and the inconvenience that small damage can cause. Plus, even when the damage is hardly noticeable it can have a detrimental effect on your vehicle's resale value. That's why the SMART Protection policy is the perfect way to protect your vehicle in the event of small dents, chips, scratches and scuffs. Any damage received from car parks, accidental bumps and scrapes that are within the policy limitations and can be repaired using SMART technology, is covered.

The SMART Protection policy covers:

  • Chips up to 1.5mm
  • Dents up to 30cm in diameter
  • Light scratches up to 30cm long
  • Scuffs up to 30cm in diame​ter

Should any claim not qualify as a SMART repair, up to a £250 contribution will be paid towards a body-shop repair* (upon receipt of a valid invoice).

The SMART Protection policy excludes:

  • Panel replacement
  • Stickers and decals
  • Beading and mouldings
  • Cracked or dented bumpers or their replacement
  • Bodyshop repairs
  • Third-party liability

Repairs will only be undertaken if an invisible result can be achieved using SMART technology​.
